Farhaana joined Maple-Brown Abbott in January 2024 as Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary. Farhaana manages the Legal, Risk and Compliance team responsible for oversight and governance of Maple-Brown Abbott’s risk, compliance and governance frameworks. Before joining Maple-Brown Abbott Farhaana was Head of Compliance, Australia and New Zealand, at Franklin Templeton and Head of Compliance, Australia, Singapore and New Zealand, at Legg Mason. Farhaana has worked as a Company Secretary at a number of companies and was admitted as a lawyer in 2009 while working in governance.
